We started as KJEM Brilliant Kidz Student Centre in 2019

 

KJEM Brilliant Kidz is a Filipino-run Student Care (Daycare) Centre in Singapore that was incorporated in September 2019. We offer a holistic curriculum comprises of organised play, field trips, camps, preparatory classes, daily tuition learning support, an early intervention programme, and enrichment classes such as arts, painting, drawing, music, dancing, cooking, baking, robotics, coding, public speaking, financial literacy for kids and many more to inculcate life-long skills and to develop children's passion into something great.

 

We are a group of mommies, who made the decision to establish an educational support centre. Through God’s wisdom, He enlightened us, transformed our struggles into creative opportunities, and helped us come up with a solution of creating a homey and fun learning environment. To support students before and after school hours.

The KJEM Story

After facing struggles in finding after-school place. KJEM Brilliant Kidz Centre was founded by Meg Tongio with the support of her husband Rex, her family, and the help of her friends, founding members Everly, Juvie, Menchie, Liza, Wilma, Joy, Chet, Alice and many more to mention. 

​

Raising kids away from home as a migrant family is a difficult and demanding chore that is made considerably tough and more complicated when both parents are employed. One significant concern that parents can relieve themselves of is having a strong support system.

​

Meg and Rex are both working full time, with very demanding work tasks and schedules. Given their family dynamic, they have experienced challenges in finding a Centre to look after their son Kimi while they are at work. Not the only Filipino family to go through the same dilemma. Meg found solace in joining the support group of mommies that started from kids' play day, over the weekend to a social enterprise. Through God’s wisdom, their struggles transformed into creative opportunities. They have come up with a solution of creating a homey and fun learning environment. To support students before and after school hours.

After a few obstacles along the way, Meg decided to stand up and persevere to manage the Centre. KJEM Group of Companies have conceived. With Meg's skills and experience, KJEM ventured to provide management consultancy and corporate services (KJEM Solutions Pte Ltd), health and wellness services (Physio Health Wellness LLP), and Academy offering Preparatory Courses for Admission to Singapore Local Schools - AEIS Review Programme, ACE K-12 Curriculum (Kinder, Primary & Secondary), Day-care Programme, Pre-school Enrichment with Early Intervention Programme.

KJEM Academy is already registered as a Private Education Institution (PEI) formerly known as CPE.
